The latest bridal hair trends
We spoke to hair stylist, Annette Defty, who specialises in weddings, proms and parties about all things bridal hair.
Chester-le-street based Annette Defty, 56, has been a hairdresser since she was 25. Her passion for hairdressing came from loving styling her daughter Lauren's hair. She said: "I love to see the finished result and what I have created."
She said the high bun is currently popular (pictured below) "because brides like to make a statement. [It] would take about an hour to do."
For bridesmaids, Annette said the most popular look is curls.
But, she said the most popular overall is still the half up half down style.
