Paw-fect ideas to get your dog involved in your wedding day

Calling all dog lovers who want their pups in their wedding pictures. Find out some great creative ways to have your doggy involved in your wedding day below.

When sending out your invites you think of all your family, all your friends and even that annoying woman from work you feel like you have to invite. Yet, you oversee that one special someone that is there waiting for you at the door every time you get home, gives you cuddles when you are sad and will certainly make your wedding pictures look a lot cuter! That is, of course, your dog!

Here at Forever&Always we think a dog definitely counts as a loved one and therefore should be involved in your wedding. For all you dog lovers out there, we asked some real brides for inspo on how they are including their pups in their big day.

Victoria Palmer,27 adopted her dog, Holly, when she was two and now (four years later) Victoria is getting married this November and she is finding creative ways to get Holly involved in her special day. She said: "There was no way we could have our wedding without including her! She is our life. We thought how better to make it "Facebook" official other than have Holly the dog announcing it with her plaque. (pictured below) We plan to have her in our photos for our save the dates too."

Hayley Jones, 35, said: "Our boy (Hunter, pictured below) will be at the venue for outside photos. We're getting married on July 6 this year. The venue allows pets in the hotel rooms so he will be there with us and family and friends will be taking it in turns taking him round the grounds to stretch his legs. We will be having photos in the grounds so Hunter will be in all of those as he is a big part of our lives. "

Another bride getting her dog involved in her big day is Amanda Garner. Amanda 50, said: "We are planning having Oscar as the ring bearer for our wedding on July 19th. He will do anything for a tennis ball so we are looking for one we can put rings inside. Our little pup crumble is just going to walk in with Oscar and my son then sit with my dad as she will be too young for a job.

Our wedding isn't going to be your conventional one although we have a lovely venue etc. We have both been married before and have four grown up children between us plus my partners little girl will be six. Oscar, out working cocker spaniel, is like an extra child to us. We will also have crumble by then too as she is due to be born at the end of the year. Our wedding is about us and our children and their partners joining together as one big family. My eldest is giving me away and my youngest is walking with Oscar to bring rings. My dad is going to walk with him too as Cam has autism so wouldn't be able to do it with just Oscar. "
